This new Knifeworld song sounds like everything I love about music rolled into one track. I can’t wait for the new album.
Who would have guessed? Some of the people in one of my Facebook groups are getting their knickers in a twist over the results. The list is hideously conservative but it just reflects the musical taste of those listeners. Nothing to see here. Move on.
I was doing a bit of uncluttering today and found this dusty old Palm m500. I’ll bet I have enough of these old gadgets lying around that I could start my own museum.
Check out this beautiful piece of vinyl from The Fierce & The Dead. It’s number 43 out of a limited edition run of 500.
You can still order it from the band’s website.
I change themes more than I actually write anything here. This is the page for the theme I’ve settled on. I post this comment to commit myself to sticking with it.
Yes, Renaissance, Curved Air and Hawkwind are all playing in Glasgow next month. Party like it’s 1973.

It’s a shame that it’s the older bands that are still making money from touring in the UK. I would rather support newer bands but a lot of them don’t seem to venture away from the southern parts of the country. They can’t really afford take the chance and so it’s the old favourites that are getting most of my ticket money.
