InsideOutmusic have released a promo for the new album by The Tangent. I’ve heard a few previews and it’s sounding very good indeed. Out in April.
It looks like a trip through to Edinburgh is on the cards for September. My Twitter stream was full of happy people today due to the announcement of the above tour. I was hoping for a show at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow but Edinburgh will be no problem.
Tickets will have to be obtained first of course and that means wrestling with a horrible online booking agency which will no doubt add various “fees” to the price. It’s King bloomin’ Crimson though so I won’t quibble this time.
Here he is singing a piece from one of my favourite albums of all time, Rock Bottom.
I said I wouldn’t be making a list of favourite albums but I changed my mind. I’m a lot of things but consistent isn’t one of them.
This is the music that gave me most pleasure this year. There is no order of preference and I’ve probably forgotten a few things again.
