On a less sour note I’m reading and enjoying Steve Howe’s autobiography. The technical guitar talk is a bit beyond me but the early Yes stuff is really good.
I don’t like to throw the word stupid around but, holy crap, we’re drowning in a sea of stupid right now. It’s getting increasingly hard to keep afloat.
Looking through Prog Magazine from a couple of months ago and it’s really sad to see all the adverts for gigs and festivals that never happened. All of the good memories that were never created.
Love it or loathe it the Amazon Echo makes a really good podcast streamer when combined with Pocket Casts. That is pretty much all I use it for.
Lots of Akira Kurosawa films have been added to the BFI Player. I feel like another marathon watch is about to begin.
The BBC is rapidly becoming a radio only broadcaster for me. Getting rid of BBC 4 will just speed that up.
The current crisis has made it clear that I’ve never heard of most of the UK gov cabinet members. Changed days.
I watched about half of "Uncut Gems" on Netflix last night. All the high-pitched dialogue and shouting was doing my head in. Nice music though. I’ll try and finish it tonight.
