Cooked a steak in the air fryer tonight and I feel like I’ve levelled up. Pre-heated the air fryer for five minutes at 200C and then cooked each side of the steak for seven minutes which was maybe a bit too long but it turned out fine. I’ll adjust next time.

I think the world might be a bit nicer if people said “I don’t know” more often.

I went to the cinema last night for the first time In ages and it was a nice experience. Comfy reclining seats, an idiot-free audience, and Dazed and Confused was just as fun as I remembered.

It seems like all of the things that used to fill up your spam folder are now being advertised on British television channels.

Five weeks in my new place and most of my books and CDs are still packed away in boxes. I like the tidiness. I like the lack of chaos. They might have to stay there for a while longer.

There’s something satisfying about coming home to your own place and locking the door behind you.

I found my old Sony Mini Disc player. It still looks shiny and brand new. I wish I could also find the recording of Alex Chilton I made with it when he played our local Art Centre back in the 90s. He performed a set of cover versions with a couple of Scottish musicians and I’m sure it would be of interest to collectors (if I ever found it). 🎵
