Books

Started to read: Wyntertide by Andrew Caldecott π
It’s taken a while for me to get around to reading the second part of this excellent trilogy.

Finished reading: Rotherweird by Andrew Caldecott πLoved this one. It seems to divide people according to reviews I’ve read but I came to it with zero expectations and was enthralled. Looking forward to the next two parts.

Currently reading: Rotherweird by Andrew Caldecott π I knew nothing about this book but at 99p for the Kindle version I decided to take a chance. I’m very glad I did.

Currently reading: Sound Within Sound by Kate Molleson ππ΅
I haven’t been able to concentrate on any reading over the last few weeks due to the major stuff going on in my life but I seem to be settling down a bit now. I have a pile of music-related books to get through.

Finished reading: The Sound of Being Human by Jude Rogers π

Dropping everything to read : The Sound of Being Human by Jude Rogers. I’ve had this on order for a while. π

Currently reading: The Horse’s Mouth by Joyce Cary π

Finished reading: The Looking Glass War by John Le CarrΓ©. It took two attempts to read this gloomy installment of John Le CarrΓ©’s espionage series but the ending was quietly devastating.

Currently reading: Manhattan transfer by John Dos Passos π
Carter, tears of terror mingling with make-up and the rain, squeezed the accordion. There was the long-drawn-out chord that by law must precede all folk music to give bystanders time to get away.
Another Terry Pratchett gem from Lords and Ladies. π¬
Iβm already a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to Kindle books so Β£0.99 for Neil Gaimanβs American Gods quartet was an easy purchase.
When it comes to great big works of fiction itβs Kindle all the way for me.
