Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. 📍
Back to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum today. It was nice and cool inside amongst the exhibits. Very warm outside.
It appears that I’ve preordered an album on Bandcamp two times again. I need someone to keep track of these things for me.
I searched on DuckDuckGo for info about a new iOS app and one of the results pointed to a genuine personal blog. Just like the old days. Not only that but the blog was hosted on micro.blog. I’d love to see more of this happening.
Carol Cadwalladr makes an important and brilliant speech on TED and the usual suspects complain about the platforms she uses. It’s like some people dont want to ever win again. 🤷♂️
I got my first pair of varifocal glasses last week. Still getting used to them. I have to tilt my head back slightly in order to read anything close up which I keep forgetting. I got so used to peering over the old frames to read small print.🤓
I’m working my way through the French poetic realism season on the Criterion Channel. If Jean Gabin is one of the stars you know things are not going to end well for him.
Test. We were just in time for the organ recital at Kelvingrove on Friday. I do love that big sound.

Visited Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum yesterday for the first time in a while. I’m always amazed at the amount of great art on display there and how close you can get to enjoy it. All for no charge. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon.

I’m not sure if it’s possible to be 100% Google free on the net but I’ve just deleted my account at last. I downloaded a few photos that were still on there and checked the spam filled email for the last time and then clicked delete. No going back.
Started to read: Light Perpetual by Francis Spufford 📚
I’ve just noticed that Mail on iOS 18 now has “select all’ for bulk deleting messages. A bit late but welcome all the same.
